Generalized Lipodystrophy (GL) is a rare condition that few know about. But left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications. Providing concepts and copy for creative partner Foster & Create, together we raised awareness through patients’ real stories — providing potentially life-saving information to patients and healthcare providers.
Putting humanizing faces on a faceless disease, we created a video which we helped integrate into an existing GL website, making the site more engaging and effective.
We developed an attention-grabbing banner ad campaign that brought forward the voice of different GL patients, highlighting ways the disease can present, and driving visitors to the enhanced website.
To educate healthcare providers about the signs and symptoms of GL, we created a series of engaging patient profiles.
In addition to raising awareness of GL, we developed the website for the prescription medicine that treats the disease, Myalept.
